            RFA is radiofrequency vein closure with a minimally invasive surgical technique that is performed on an outpatient basis. An ultrasound is used to determine the diseased vein, in which a vein closure catheter is placed through a small opening in the skin. A thin catheter uses radiofrequency energy to heat the wall of the vein, causing it to contract and close. As the diseased vein is closed, blood is redistributed to healthy veins. Patients very rarely feel mild pain during or after the procedure, because the local anesthesia is very precise and is performed under ultrasound control. <\/span>At the end of the procedure, a compression stocking is placed on the operated vein, and the patient can move immediately. Patients can carry out their daily activities the very next day, avoiding prolonged standing and heavy physical activities. Unlike classic surgery, in which incisions are made in the groin and lower leg, through which a striper wire is introduced, with which the vein is pulled out, with the RFA technique, a catheter is introduced into the vein through a small puncture on the leg, the vein is closed and there is no return through it blood. <\/span>Advantages of the RFA procedure: disappearance of symptoms (painful, swollen and tired legs), the procedure is performed outside the hospital, on an outpatient basis, local anesthesia is sufficient, return to daily activities within 1-2 days, excellent cosmetic effect without scars, without bruising and swelling<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
