In the beautiful ambiance of the Revival Hall of the National House of the Croatian Academy of Sciences and Arts, the traditional, 15th December Symposium titled “Teaching Experiences and Scientific Challenges in Dermatological Practice – Selected Cases” was held. We had the opportunity to listen to some of the most interesting experiences from the practice of our distinguished colleagues.
Our doctor, Dr. Mia Šuša Crnčević, in co-operation with the young forces of Split’s dermatology ward, participated in the presentation of interesting and rare dermatoses from the KBC Split Clinical Center for skin and STD-s.
In the joint discussion of the academic prof. dr. sc. Mirna Šitum and prof. dr. sc. Branka Marinović, special emphasis was put on the importance of removing mole exclusively in a surgical way. In everyday practice, we meet with the demands of patients for removing a mole by laser, radio frequency and similar devices due to the desire for a better aesthetic appearance of the scare itself. Remember, health comes first.
At the very end of the congress prof. dr. sc. Mirna Šitum wished us all the best during the upcoming holiday season. We thank her for all the effort and enthusiasm that she gives to us every year.
