Dr. med. Sanda Perić Šušak, in a trip organized by the Croatian representative of Allergan Maya Tayfur Mali, visited Allergan, an American pharmaceutical company in Westport, Ireland, producing the most powerful anti-age preparation BOTOX.

It is a fascinating technological process of production in extremely demanding, controlled and sterile conditions, where half a gram of concentrated active substance botulinum toxin produces 9,000,000 ready-to-use preparations.

To recall, BOTOX is Botulinum toxin type A, a purified protein that produces bacteria Bacterium clostridium.

Local injection of botox into the muscle stops the release of acetylcholine, a neurotransmitter responsible for initiating muscle contraction.
